I can’t help but love this moody, temperamental lump of Chattanooga’s finest.
There’s something about going for a midnight drive with all the windows down that really helps clear your mind.
Although it’s been a bitch most of the time, I can’t help but want to drive it more and enjoy it as much as I can.
This drive may have resulted in a late night burger, so it’s a win-win for everyone.

Clears your mind
Clears your wallet
Clears the space where a water pump should be

1.8 TSI EA888 with 170 hp when it works

Ah yes. The EA888 family; the gift that keeps giving... to repair shops.
Water pumps, timing chains, intake manfild runner flaps, carbon build up, flimsy rear main seals that end up causing a lean code at idle, floppy turbo wastegates, coil packs . So on and so forth.
Rreally is a shame because I like a lot about how those engines work and are screwed together. I dont dislike working on them.
They do drive nice... when not broken.

I’m on my ninth water pump in 64k since new back in late 2015.
